Cat CD SO Close to Being Done
Good day. The Whiskers in the Jar: Irish Songs for Cat Lovers is nearly done being recorded. Today, Chris Buckley of The Tea Merchants came in the studio. He recorded a set of tunes and played the finishing touches of "Whiskers in the Jar". Rich is about to lay the guitar on the tune set and then the day comes to a close. I just looked at my spread sheet. That will mean all that is left is my autoharp on the tunes and Cedric's background vocals on "Cuddles McGish". Then mastering. And the CD is done! Wow! And Whew!
So what does this mean?
Well, the album won't be mastered until after St. Patrick's Day. And I'm still waiting on cover art from Ingrid Houwers (had to resubmit info to her after the album name changed). Once the CD is mastered though, then I'll decide on the official release date for the CD. Probably a good three months or so later. Though adopters will get it MUCH sooner.
So I guess I'll start looking for some cat holidays this summer...
Meantime, go download "Danny Boy" and share it with your friends.
