KILTED FOR HER PLEASURE
I had this big discussion a while back about the whys and what fors of kilt wearing. I love my kilt. I love the colors, the comfort factor. The only downside really is my boots, of which I need a better replacement. While I love it, I also recognized that a large number of women love to see me, and other men, in kilts.
Before I ask the psychological question "Why?", I thought I'd announce this new idea for a compilation CD--Kilted for Her Pleasure. Originally, I was just looking at creating t-shirts for the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. Then I thought, this too cool a title not to make into a full album. So I decided a CD of music by Kilt-wearing Celts was in order.
Like the CD idea?
Also, if you enjoy seeing people in kilts, why?
More on the album as it progresses. Meantime, Celtic bands can submit music here (if they haven't done so already).

I think this would be a marvelous sequel to "Real Men Wear Kilts." (Not that I'm hinting, or anything. ;-D )
I like kilts for a lot of reasons. Many times the gentleman wearing the kilt in question has very nice legs. Aesthetically, the kilts themselves have a nice line, the plaids are interesting, and the cut of a kilt can make a man look more slender through the waist than pants do, which emphasizes a nice deep chest and/or broad shoulders. They can hide a nonexistent behind or give a quick glimpse of a little thigh, too.
Those are pretty much the same reasons guys like to see women in skirts, I bet, if you translate the upper body factor into feminine terms!
One extra thing that's ultra-sexy about kilts, though, is that they say the guy wearing them is secure about who he is. He's not hyper-scared about how people perceive him. That says good things about the guy's self-confidence and self-image.
Yeaaaah, that'd be nice for RMWK, but considering I don't know When that CD will ever be finished, I'm not gonna wait.
Good reasoning.
Love the idea! I can't help but think that a guy that wears kilts is not only confident but a bit of a rebel as well. A friend of Katrina's would wear a kilt to high school. I'm sure he was trying to make a statement.
I love to see (most) guys in kilts, not only to get to see a little leg, but also because I think it speaks to the self confidence of the man wearing the kilt. He's comfortable in his own skin, and willing to stand on his own instead of just following the crowd.
It's funny how kilts can make a man look way more manly than a full complement of armor. I always feel sorry for guys in armor at Faires, but I chase a man in a kilt - as you know to your own detriment. :P
All joking aside, that's really what does it for me - somehow, a man wearing a kilt is terribly masculine, and he's confident in that masculinity. That sort of combination is quite intoxicating.
Plus most of the guys I know who wear kilts have FANTASTIC legs. I'm just saying.
Love kilts, it's an addiction! Would love to see more long haired men in kilts in modern society...heaven on earth! JJ
