I am selling it because (a) I'm not a big fan of real fur, and (b) I don't wear women's fur coats. :) About the Fox Fur CoatThe fur coat's a custom-designed as a 1920's style "cocoon coat." It was made in the 50s or 60s using Genuine black fox fur trim on the sleeve cuffs, as well as all around the neck, sides, and back. The body of the coat is black chiffon, with erratic polka-dots of black eyelash lame'. Perfect condition; no holes or molting. The fur alone has been valued at $1000. Ladies' sizes 6-10. No front closure. I was told it is worth over $1,200 because of it's stylish design, quality, and of course, the cost of the fur. But I don't want it any more. Because of that.
