'Circle of Iron' on Serendipity Cinema
A martial arts movie, for non-martial arts fans?
Yes. It could be called the first Zen movie, with
a philosophy that is so subtle that it is overt, so
obscure that it is blatant. Written by Bruce Lee
and James Coburn it was the project that might
never have been made. But Lee's students put
together the simple production in Isreal and
peopled the cast with actors like David Carradine,
Christopher Lee, Roddy MacDowell & Eli Wallach.

'Gumshoe' on Serendipity Cinema
He wants to do stand up comedy, play rock and roll and be
Sam Spade. Instead, he calls bingo, listens to rock and roll
and rereads hard-boiled detective novels. Until his birthday,
when his life becomes a lower class English version of
"The Big Sleep." Albert Finney is amazingly good in this
little nothing film that slipped under everyones radar.
If you have the patience (the accents are thick, and the
style is varying) you could have a good time with this one.

'The 7 Faces of Dr. Lao' on Serendipity Cinema
This won an Oscar for Make up, but it is not the kind of film that one would think right off as an award winner. Hey, it has the feel of Roger Corman and George Pal, with a hint of Ray arryhausen thrown in remember interviewing Tony Randall years ago, when he was touring in 'The Music Man.' He said his main memory was having his head and eyebrows shaved. He was distressed because it gave him 'this horrible unborn look.' All that aside, the film is a joy.

'The Enchanted College' on Serendipity Cinema
Some will call it a "Chick Flick," others just
a "Romantic Love Story" and some might even call
it "Fantasy," but this film is about the power of
hope, the magic of love. With magnificent performances
and simple honesty, it paints a picture that would
never be attempted today. It is glorious, and will
leave no one who sees it unchanged.

Distribute Your Self-Published Book
Where is your book now? With a distributor? In a book store?
Or, did it already die an early death after a few months?
New self-published authors often believe they need a distributor
to sell a lot of books. They want to use Ingram or Baker &
Taylor because they think they need to get their book into the
"brick and mortar" bookstores like Barnes and Noble.
