A World Through Colored Lens

Happily Ever After
This is a modern fairy tale I wrote based on a children's book called "The Paperbag Princess". It tells about a princess who is captured by a dragon and saves herself, especially when an arrogan Prince Charming arrives and is not interested in the woman, just the "Princess". Here's to the Dreamers (Anne of Green Gables Tribute)
The movie, Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery and staring Megan Follows has long been an inspiration to me. I first saw it in high school. It's sort of a comfort movie for me. While watching in before bedtime late one evening, a song came to me. The inspiration of Anne came back to me. (Added: 18-Apr-2004 Hits: 440)

I Am The Bello
"Bello" in Italian means "beautiful". In the Veneto dialect, it is pronounced "Bay-yo". Nancy and I used the words "Bello" and "Bella" as pet names for each other. For us, it was a sign of not just our beauty, but also our strength, love and resolve. I still think of myself as Bello rather than Marc. (Added: 16-Mar-2003 Hits: 551)

A friend surprised me by taking me to see Patrice Pike play at the Saxon Pub. I fell in love with her music, voice and performance when she sang with Sister Seven, but this was like a rebirth for me. It was pure inspiration. (Added: 15-Apr-2003 Hits: 585)

Paddy McCollough
One day on the South Mall, after improving a cool new song, Andrew made the comment that I always write the depressing music, and he always writes the positive upbeat music. I thought about it a bit. Jokingly I said no... Thought some more, and you know he was right.
