(Princess Bride) Buttercup's Lament
This lyric poem began with the idea of a woman who's True Love was lost at sea. But as the story developed, it combined with my love of movies. The "True Love" became Buttercup from the cult classic, the "Princess Bride". It's a sad lamentation that while not running perfectly with the story in the movie, touches the heart of what Buttercup might've felt when she learned of her Wesley's death.
