"I love you, Marc! You are a musical genius! I have spent all day listening to your music. I even got my roommate hooked on your music. I was very pleased to see that you even have songs about cats! Not many people have time for cats, and it is very nice to see you take time to write songs about them. I have been a fan for almost a year now, and I still can not get enough of your music!"

"You brightened my day! I was looking for the words to "Parting Glass" and when I went to Ask Jeeves, he sent me to you! I went to a funeral last Friday, and the words to the song wouldn't leave my head.
Your site was a bright day. Thank you Marc. I hope this finds you well!"
— Tambry
"I just wanted to tell you what a great job you did on Loch Lomond. It is such a magnificent song to begin with. When you add that to the pure, rich quality of your voice everything else fades. It’s almost like tunnel vision for the ears! Well done, I hope to hear that many more times."
— Emillee Rush, Oklahoma
"I just wanted to tell you I love your music, and it has even tappered down to two of my children ages 9 and 11. One who is terminally ill, and the other who is autistic. Their favorite song you do is called "The Leprechaun. Thank you for making such beautifully music that has enriched our lives. I hope one day you come to sing and play where I live which is the Philadelphia, PA tri state area. I will most definitly be there along with my boyfriend who is also a singer/musician of Celtic music."

"Not sure how much fanmail like this you get, but just wanted to say I really love your music, both with the B. Bards and solo. I write a lot of original short stories (And some not so original. Yay, fandom! :D) and I find listening to your music really inspires me, especially during times when I am plagued by the evil known as Writer's Block. My favorite song of yours has to be "The Leprechaun." It really makes me giggle, even when I've had a very bad day. nyway, thank you for being an inspiration and source of joy when days were rainy, and may you always have the same happiness you give to others. :)"

"As a fellow poet, writer and most importantly a Christian. I just want to thank you for sharing your God given talents with the world. It has a light that is all it's own, and chases those dark and cold places of the soul and leaves one with a warm firey glow.
Thanks for being an inspiration!"
— Shana Martin
"Hey Marc- How's everything? I am am writing to you today because I thought you might like to hear this. I was a guest on my friend's radio show last night and he actually played "The Barrel Song" off "Harper..." not only does it make me feel good that somebody else is playing the world music I bring into the station, but it must make you glad to know you're being played at other times then Sundays 12-3pm. He commented to me that he liked the song cand could actually picture the bricks falling! I recommended all the other tracks off the album and hopefully, with any luck, your album will become a WWPV staple in a few years.
Never
have I heard an amature recording so well-delievered and hearfelt-thank ye for finally sending this my way. I will give it plenty of air time."
— Edward, DJ on WWPV in Vermont
